If your Malaysia Airlines flight was delayed by 3 or more hours, cancelled without prior notice, or if you were denied boarding, you may be entitled to compensation under EU Regulation EC 261/2004. This applies to all flights departing from EU airports.
Compensation amounts are fixed by law: €250 for short-haul flights under 1,500km, €400 for medium-haul flights between 1,500 and 3,500km, and €600 for long-haul flights exceeding 3,500km. To claim, you'll need your booking confirmation, boarding pass, and documentation of the delay.
